Hi, I’m Theresa Orlandella.
Ballet, Pointe, Tap, and Irish Step Instructor
About Me
My journey with dance started at age 5 and has remained a passion throughout my life. Over the past 19 years, I have trained in diverse styles ranging from hip hop to clogging to Irish step. However, my true love for dance lies with ballet, a style I have the honor of teaching at Dance With ME Maine studio.
With over a decade of rigorous ballet training across various styles and levels, complemented by 6 years of experience in assistant and substitute teaching for students ages 6-18, I bring a wealth of knowledge to my role. My academic background in medical biology and kinesiology from my undergraduate studies makes me uniquely qualified to teach ballet in a manner that prioritizes safety and holistic health.
Beyond the studio, I am actively engaged in scientific research at NorDx Laboratories and pursuing my master’s degree at USM. I am enthusiastic about meeting our new students and guiding them through a rewarding and enriching year ahead. I look forward to meeting you all soon!
